Kyabram Country Motel, located at 363 Allan St, Kyabram, VIC, is dedicated to supporting the needs of our guests who travel with electric vehicles (EVs). This policy outlines the use of the motel's standard power points for EV charging, emphasizing safety and accessibility.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all guests of Kyabram Country Motel who wish to use the motel's standard power points for charging their electric vehicles.
3. Charging Facility Access
- Pre-Arrangement Requirement: Guests must arrange the use of power points for EV charging with motel management prior to their arrival, via phone, email, or our online booking system.
- Availability: Access to power points is subject to availability and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
4. Cost
- Charging Fee: A fee of $50 per day per vehicle is charged for the use of power points for EV charging.
- Billing: This fee will be added to the guest’s motel bill and must be settled upon arrival.
5. Equipment and Safety
- Guest’s Responsibility: Guests must provide their own charging cable, ensuring it is compatible and in good working condition.
- Cable Placement: All cables must be safely placed to avoid creating a trip hazard or obstructing walkways, in accordance with safety guidelines provided by the motel.
- Hotel’s Limitation: Kyabram Country Motel provides standard power points only and does not offer specialized EV charging equipment.
6. Usage Limitations
- Time Limit: Vehicles must be unplugged and removed from the power point after a maximum of 12 hours of charging, or once fully charged, whichever occurs first.
- Responsibility: Kyabram Country Motel is not responsible for any damage to vehicles or personal property during the charging process.
